What is Rogue Pay?
Rogue Pay is a modern payroll system built for crews, managers, and job-based teams. It helps you track work hours and units, run payroll, and deliver pay stubs to your team.
How do I create an account?
Click 'Start Free' on the homepage or visit the signup page. Enter your email and create a password. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
What's included in the free Starter plan?
The Starter plan includes 1 admin account, up to 5 workers, unlimited payroll runs, PDF pay stubs, and email delivery. Managers are available on the Pro plan.
How do I install Rogue Pay on my phone?
Visit the Download page from the menu. On iPhone, tap Share then 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android, tap the menu and select 'Install App' or 'Add to Home Screen'.
How do I set up my company?
Go to Admin > Company. Enter your company name and select your pay frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly). This sets up your pay schedule for payroll runs.
How do I add workers to my team?
Go to Admin > Workers and click 'Add Worker'. Enter their name, email, role, and pay structure (hourly, piece-rate, or both). You can also invite them via email so they can log in and enter their own hours.
How do I create jobs or builds?
Go to Admin > Jobs and click 'Add Job'. Enter the job name and description. Once created, assign workers to the job so they can log time against it.
How do I run payroll?
Go to Admin > Run Payroll. Select the pay period dates. Review all work entries for that period. Click 'Finalize Payroll' to generate pay stubs and send emails to workers.
How do I export payroll data?
Go to Admin > History. Each payroll run has a 'Download CSV' button that exports all pay data in a format ready for your accountant.
What happens if I finalize payroll by mistake?
Finalized payroll cannot be edited to protect data integrity. If you need to make corrections, run a new payroll for the affected period or contact support.
What can managers do in Rogue Pay?
Managers can view assigned jobs, enter work hours for their crew members, log their own hours, and submit work entries for admin approval. Managers require the Pro plan or higher.
How do I enter work for my crew?
Go to Manager > Work Entries. Select a worker and job, enter the date, hours worked, and units completed (if applicable). Click 'Submit' to log the entry.
How do I view my assigned jobs?
Go to Manager > Jobs to see all jobs you're assigned to. Each job shows the workers on that job and recent work entries.
Can I edit work entries after submitting?
You can edit pending work entries. Once an entry is approved by admin or included in a finalized payroll, it becomes locked and cannot be changed.
How do I log my hours?
Go to My Hours from your dashboard. Select the job, enter the date and hours worked. If you're paid piece-rate, also enter units completed. Click 'Submit' to send for approval.
How do I view my pay stubs?
Go to My Pay Stubs from your dashboard. You'll see all your pay stubs organized by pay period. Click 'View Pay Stub' to see or download the PDF.
When do I get paid?
Your pay date is shown on each pay stub. Check with your admin about your company's pay schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).
What if my hours are wrong?
Contact your manager or admin immediately. If the payroll hasn't been finalized yet, they can correct the entry. After payroll is finalized, adjustments may appear on your next pay period.
How do I update my email address?
Contact your admin to update your email address in the system. This ensures you receive pay stub emails at the correct address.
How is my pay calculated?
Your pay is calculated based on your pay structure. Hourly workers: hours x hourly rate. Piece-rate workers: units x piece rate. Some workers have both and earn the total of hourly and piece pay.
What's a pay period?
A pay period is the time range for which you're being paid. Common pay periods are weekly (7 days), bi-weekly (14 days), semi-monthly (twice a month), or monthly.
Why didn't I receive a pay stub email?
Check your spam folder first. Make sure your email address is correct in the system. If the issue persists, contact your admin or use the 'Resend' option in History.
Can I see my pay history?
Yes! Workers can view all past pay stubs in 'My Pay Stubs'. Admins can see full payroll history in 'Admin > History'.
Are taxes calculated automatically?
Rogue Pay currently shows gross pay (before taxes). Tax calculations and withholdings should be handled by your accountant or payroll tax service.
How do I contact support?

What information should I include in a support request?
Include your company name, your email address, the role you're using (admin/manager/worker), and a detailed description of the issue or question.

Phone support is available for Crew plan subscribers. Starter and Pro users can reach us via email at support@roguepzh.com.
Where can I report a bug?
